This document was prepared by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), which organized the First Meeting of the WECAFC Ad Hoc Working Group on the Development of Sustainable Moored Fish Aggregating Device Fishing. It includes information on the status of FAD development and fishing activities in the Lesser Antilles. It also includes an account of the group’s deliberations and a record of the decisions and recommendations that the group made relative to the objectives of the Meeting.
The work was accomplished under the guidance and supervision of FAO/WECAFC/FIIT.
The National Reports and all the contributions presented during the meeting will be published as a supplement to this FAO Fisheries Report.
