An extensive search of information available within the FAO and from outside sources was undertaken to identify NGOs from Asia Pacific region for inclusion in the database. A detailed listing of over 250 NGOs in the region has been established. A hard copy of the listing is available with the Rural Development Unit. This listing will be updated into the already existing database after verification and careful scrutiny of organisations.
