devices and solar thermal dryers for date ripening and drying,
experimental stations for freshwater fish culture (tilapia, carp,
catfish, prawns), use of fish culture water as fertilizer for
agricultural crops, a solar-operated experimental station for
pumping and desalinating groundwater, and study of
salinityresistant plants and their use as camel and cattle fodder
