Aggregate 2002 cereal production is estimated at 151 400 tonnes, 8 percent lower than the previous year and slightly below average. Cereal import requirements for 2002/03 (November/October) amount to 74 200 tonnes of which about 69 000 tonnes are anticipated to be imported commercially.
