Oman Train the Trainers Course: Locust Control

The control portion of the training course combined theoretical with practical work important in the application of chemical and alternative products using ULV techniques. These included swath width, droplet size and behaviour, spraying conditions, sprayer types and calibration, demarcating and monitoring. On the last day, participants went to the field to find, mark and spray mock hopper bands.
