The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) is pleased to welcome the Universidad de los Llanos (Unillanos) from Colombia as a new member of the International System for Agricultural Science and Technology (AGRIS).

Founded in 1974, Unillanos has played a vital role in advancing education and research in the Orinoquía region. Its focus on agricultural sciences and environmental management has made significant contributions to the local and national development of Colombia.
