Universidad Regional Autónoma de los Andes from Ecuador joins AGRIS, contributing expertise on food security, nutrition, and gastronomy

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) welcomes Universidad Regional Autónoma de los Andes (UNIANDES) from Ecuador as a new member of the International System for Agricultural Science and Technology (AGRIS).

Founded in 1995, UNIANDES has become a key institution in Ecuador, fostering academic excellence and innovation. With its main campus in Ambato, the university has expanded its influence across multiple provinces, offering diverse programs in health sciences, business, and engineering.
