Universidad Santo Tomás from Colombia Joins AGRIS to Drive Research in Sustainability and Environmental Development

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) welcomes Universidad Santo Tomás from Colombia as a new member of the International System for Agricultural Science and Technology (AGRIS).

Founded on June 13, 1580, in Bogotá, Universidad Santo Tomás is the oldest university in Colombia. With multiple campuses in cities such as Bucaramanga, Medellín, Tunja, and Villavicencio, it offers many academic programs and is recognized for its high-quality education. With an enrollment of around 20,000 students, it is one of the country’s leading educational institutions and holds high-quality accreditation from the Ministry of National Education.
