Universidad Veracruzana from Mexico joins AGRIS, expanding research on biodiversity, probiotics, and environmental impact

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) is pleased to welcome the Universidad Veracruzana (UV) from Mexico as a new member of the International System for Agricultural Science and Technology (AGRIS).

Founded in 1944, UV has grown into a leading institution in Mexico. It is known for contributing to Veracruz's social and economic development and its focus on sustainability, environmental studies, and medical sciences.
