The National Autonomous University of Nicaragua Joins AGRIS to Share Research on Forestry and Hydrology

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) warmly welcomes the National Autonomous University of Nicaragua (UNAN), Managua as the newest member of the International System for Agricultural Science and Technology (AGRIS).

Founded in 1812, UNAN is the oldest and largest university in Nicaragua, playing a crucial role in the country’s academic and research development. The institution is known for contributing to diverse fields such as environment, and technology.
