Using an elegant combination of words, numbers and graphics, the AGRIS brochure simply explains the concept and purpose of FAO-coordinated AGRIS as a global information service dedicated to fighting hunger.

After describing its composition and the evolution of the content in the AGRIS database, the brochure highlights the importance of multilingualism in AGRIS before outlining the benefits for organizations joining the AGRIS network, known as data providers, who provide the bibliographic data indexed in the database.

Members of the AGRIS network can use it as a resource to refresh their own understanding of AGRIS whilst also using it to explain AGRIS to those interested in joining the network or even just simply curious.
