Indian Society of Soil Salinity and Water Quality (ISSSWQ)

The Indian Society of Soil Salinity and Water Quality (ISSSWQ), founded on 6th August 2008 at Karnal under the Societies Registration Act XXI, 1860 (Registration No. ROS-088) for the advancement of research and development in soil salinity and water quality, aims at providing a forum for scientists, engineers, research workers, students and different stakeholders on the emerging scientific themes for exchange of ideas and knowledge. It acts as a catalytic link among research institutions, development organizations, industries and farmers. Since its inception, the society organizes national and international seminars, conferences and symposia at a regular interval in collaboration with leading organizations on different aspects relevant to soil salinity and water quality research both fundamental and applied.
