La cerveza es una de las bebidas más antiguas que se conocen en la actualidad. La cultura de la elaboración de cerveza está íntimamente ligada a la agricultura. Dos de cada tres ingredientes (malta y lúpulo) se producen a partir de la agricultura. Se puede usar casi cualquier grano para producir malta, pero es mejor usar centeno o cebada.
