FAO Brussels Director meets new OACPS Assistant Secretary-General for Climate Action and Environment

FAO Brussels Director Rodrigo de Lapuerta met with the OACPS Assistant Director General of the Department of Climate Action and Environment, Cristelle Pratt. A fruitful discussion was held on how to further enrich the relations between FAO and OACPS joint work in raising awareness on climate and livelihood challenges in the African, Caribbean and Pacific regions. De Lapuerta also emphasized FAO’s priority to assist the Small Island Developing States, Landlocked Countries and Least Developed Countries, which are the core of OACPS membership, and informed on the establishment of an FAO office dedicated to those countries last year.
