The CPF Sourcebook on Funding for Sustainable Forest Management was developed to help users efficiently locate global funding sources for sustainable forest management projects. This initiative has now concluded and no longer available for use.
The sourcebook compiled information on funding sources, policies and delivery mechanisms, with particular focus on projects in developing countries. Its contents come from various sources: donor agencies and countries, CPF members, international forest-related organizations and instruments, developments banks, private sources, regional processes, foundations and international non-governmental organizations.
A major component of the sourcebook was a database of funding sources which contains information on over 600 funds and was a valuable starting point in the search for funding opportunities.
