العمل المناخي
تُعتبر الإجراءات لجعل الزراعة مستدامة من بين أكثر التدابير فعالية لمساعدة البلدان على التكيف مع تغير المناخ والتخفيف من حدته.
وتساعد المنظمة السكان المتضررين من الأزمات والمعرضين للخطر على تحمّل الصدمات المستقبلية من خلال دمج بناء القدرة على الصمود في الأنشطة الإنسانية. وهذا يعني معالجة أوجه الضعف الكامنة والحد من المخاطر التي تواجهها المجتمعات المحلية الريفية، على سبيل
المثال من خلال تعزيز الحد من مخاطر الكوارث وممارسات الإنتاج المقاومة للمناخ ونشرها.
وبالاستناد إلى عقود من الخبرة والخبرات العالمية، تعمل المنظمة على دمج العمل المناخي في كل جوانب عملها لدعم البلدان من أجل مواجهة هذه الآثار.. ويمكن أن يحدِث المزارعون والغابات والرعاة وصيادو الأسماك الأكثر قدرة على الصمود تغييرًا تحويليًا يعزز سبل معيشتهم ويحميهم من الآثار السلبية لتغير المناخ.
