保持和平
粮食危机发生的主要诱因是冲突，其次是极端天气和经济冲击。暴力冲突还是迫使人们流离失所的主要原因，而流离失所也是导致粮食不安全加剧的另一个因素。
通过《在2030年议程背景下支持持久和平的全组织框架》和各种战略伙伴关系，粮农组织正竭力对冲突保持敏感，并就保持和平作出响应。联合国秘书长要求所有联合国机构将保持和平作为努力推动的重要目标，并将这种做法纳入其战略计划和国家支持工作，粮农组织的做法符合这一要求。目前已经制定了一套指南，以便在国家层面实施这项工作，并为计划制定和监测提供信息。
通过为包容性的自然资源管理、粮食安全和有韧性的农业生计提供支持，有机会为预防冲突和保持和平做出贡献，从而由表象到根源地解决冲突问题。粮农组织还与流离失所者和收容社区合作，保护和重建他们的生计，提高他们自力更生的能力，并在社区层面加强包容性和社会凝聚力。
特别是在脆弱和受冲突影响的环境中，了解包括冲突与和平动态在内的当地环境是冲突敏感型规划的根本。了解背景也是实现更广泛的粮食安全和改善农业生产目标的关键，并为人道主义-发展-和平关系方面干预措施的制定提供信息。
