近东及北非

旷日持久的冲突和经济困境是造成近东及北非区域重度粮食不安全和营养不良状况的主要因素。近东及北非还是世界上最容易受到气候变化影响的区域之一。该区域高度依赖进口，2019冠状病毒病疫情和乌克兰战争导致基本粮食和农业投入品价格激增，该区域农业粮食部门因此受到严重冲击。更令人担心的是，全球面临危机及以上级别粮食不安全状况人数最高的十个国家中，三个来自该区域，即苏丹、叙利亚和也门这三个发生过冲突的国家。
