
Regional Commissions
Regional Commissions are discussion fora that involve all Member Countries in the Region. Through the Regional Commissions, Members exchange ideas, discuss current issues and develop recommendations.
There are five Regional Commissions in the Europe and Central Asia region. In addition, there are several Working Parties and Expert Groups. These bodies are listed below.
- European Commission on Agriculture (ECA) serviced by the Regional Office for Europe and Central Asia
- European Inland Fisheries and Aquaculture Advisory Commission (EIFAAC) serviced by the Regional Office for Europe and Central Asia
- General Fisheries Commission for the Mediterranean (GFCM) serviced by the Fisheries and Aquaculture Department
- European Forestry Commission (EFC) serviced by the Forestry Department
- European Commission for the Control of Foot-and-Mouth Disease (EUFMD)
- Central Asian and Caucasus Regional Fisheries and Aquaculture Commission (CACFish), serviced by the Subregional Office for Central Asia

- Joint FAO/ECE/ILO Committee on Forest Technology, Management and Training serviced by the Forestry Department
- FAO/ECE (UN)/CES Study Group on Food and Agricultural Statistics in Europe serviced by the Economic and Social Development Department
