39/8 Meeting of the Executive Committee of the ECA

The 39/8 meeting of the Executive Committee (ExCom) of the European Commission on Agriculture (ECA) is scheduled for 23 June 2023. The Committee will be provided with an update on the impact of the war in Ukraine on food security and related matters in countries of Europe and Central Asia and beyond, and with technical information on REU’s work relating to agricultural matters and food security in the region.
The Committee will also discuss the outcomes of the Informal Consultation (4-5 May 2023, Budapest, Hungary).
In preparation of the 34th Session of the Regional Conference for Europe (ERC) to be held in May 2024, the ExCom will discuss the proposals for the main topics to be discussed by the Conference.
Finally, the ExCom will be updated on the preparations of the 43rd ECA Session to be held in September 2023 in Budapest, Hungary. The ExCom will be invited to review the progress made and provide recommendations, as needed.
The meeting of the Executive Committee is not open to the public. The minutes will be made available on this website within 15 working days after the meeting.
