Impact of the Ukraine crisis on animal health and urgent support needs

The conflict in Ukraine caused disruption to animal health surveillance and control, resulting in delayed recognition of and response to important animal diseases. The risks of disease spread in Ukraine and neighbouring countries is high and needs to be re-evaluated to apply coordinated and targeted, risk-based control measures.

Co-organized by FAO and the Japan Intellectual Support Network for Agricultural Sciences, this webinar aims to raise awareness of the impact of the Ukraine crisis on animal health, and its urgent support needs.
