Small Ruminants – Regional Inception Workshop

The Small Ruminants project aims to increase capacity at national and sub-regional levels to analyse and increase the efficiency of small ruminants production systems in each participating country as well as in the Central Asian sub-region as a whole. Adopting a gender sensitive approach, the project will identify gaps and desirable future interventions to improve production efficiency and thereby decrease reduce GHG emissions intensity. The Regional Inception Meeting will contribute to the creation of a sub-regional network of resource persons, and develop capacity to transfer knowledge and technology to small ruminant keepers via the Farmer Field Schools approach.
