Systematically capturing lessons and sharing them – Results of the course on experience capitalization for continuous learning

FAO and the Global Forum for Rural Advisory Services (GFRAS) collaborated on designing a joint project, as an effort to co-use the methodology of experience capitalization for GFRAS and its members working in Europe and Central Asia.
Since February 2020, hundreds of learners have joined the course. The purpose of the side-event at the GFRAS 2020 Annual Meeting is to share the lessons learned from the courses and what have been achieved during the blended learning course, provided in English and Russian, on experience capitalization for continuous learning.

Background
Experience capitalization is a process through which an experience is identified, validated and documented, leading to learning and identification of good practices, which can then be adapted, improved, adopted by others and up-scaled, leading to a greater impact.
