As part of celebrations to mark World Food Day 2021, FAO Turkey is co-organizing an event with the Union of Municipalities of Turkey (TBB) on urban food and food systems and local food production.
Bringing together experts from FAO, the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of Turkey, and the Union of Municipalities of Turkey, the event will provide a valuable opportunity to discuss recent developments in the fields of food and agriculture. It will cover topics such as sustainable food systems, the UN Food Systems Summit, the SDGs under FAO’s responsibility, the improvement of local agricultural production, and cities and agriculture.
