Youth event: Actors of transformation in the agrifood system

An upcoming event on the role of youth in transforming food and agricultural systems is the latest output of the flourishing partnership between FAO and Bahçeşehir University (BAU).
Organized within the scope of celebrations for World Food Day 2021, the event will provide a strong platform to discuss topical issues such as nutrition, food safety, food systems and smart agriculture practices. Participants in the event will have an opportunity to hear leading experts from FAO talk about these key issues. The speakers include Assistant FAO Representative in Turkey Ayşegül Selışık, FAO Food Security Officer Keigo Obara and FAO statistician Giorgi Kvinikadze.
The event will provide up-to-date information for all young participants.
