Regional climate workshop

The workshop aims to emphasize the significance of the agriculture sector in addressing climate change and implementing climate actions. It will explore the role of the sector in achieving the goals of the Paris Agreement, particularly in relation to sustainable food systems, gender-responsive climate action, and climate finance. Participants will discuss opportunities and challenges in integrating climate considerations into agricultural policies and practices, as well as will learn more about the main agenda items for COP28.
The workshop seeks to foster knowledge sharing and collaboration among countries. Participants will have the opportunity to share their experiences, challenges, and good practices in addressing climate change in the agriculture sector through interactive sessions.
