World Food Safety Day in Georgia

Food safety is everyone’s business. No matter who you are or what you do, you play an important role in making sure food is safe and healthy to eat.
On 7 June, FAO and the World Health Organization (WHO), together with the National Food Agency of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia are organizing a public event and farmer’s market in Tbilisi to mark World Food Safety Day. It is followed by public lecture at the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Biosystems Engineering of the Georgian Technical University.
