联合国粮食及农业组织（粮农组织）将于2023年9月27日至29日举办首届全球可持续农业机械化大会，主题为“效率、包容性和韧性”。全球大会将为粮农组织成员、农民、大学、农业科学家、机械化服务供应商、发展机构、政策制定者、推广人员、民间社会、意见领袖和私营部门提供中立论坛，开展针对性对话，为农业机械化可持续发展确定重点行动，并加强相关技术网络。
近期，可持续农业机械化领域取得了重大进展，包括针对可持续植物生产及保护、土地管理和精准农业开发了适用工具、设备和机器。这些进展需要因地制宜地予以推广，以促成可持续的农业生产和农业粮食体系转型，保护环境，管理自然资源，减缓并适应气候变化，同时创造体面就业机会，保障社会公平，实现粮食安全并改善营养。

2023年全球重要农业文化遗产系统授证仪式暨展览

自2018年以来，联合国粮农组织已在12个国家新增认定24个全球重要农业文化遗产系统遗产地。新认定遗产地不仅呈现了壮丽的自然景观，还实践着优良的农业方式，一方面为农村地区创造了生计，另一方面融合了生物多样性、韧性生态系统、传统和创新。
2023年5月22日，新认定遗产地代表将齐聚联合国粮农组织总部接受证书，并向世界展示农业文化遗产系统。

《生物多样性公约》第十五次缔约方大会将于2022年12月7-19日在加拿大蒙特利尔举行，由中华人民共和国担任主席国。
粮农组织作为观察员，将在谈判活动内外为成员国提供技术咨询，牵头和共同牵头有关活动。
第十五次缔约方大会的主要目标是通过《2020年后全球生物多样性框架》，该《框架》将概述各国在未来八年为养护、保护、恢复和可持续管理生物多样性需要单独和集体采取的举措。
粮农组织致力于支持各国落实该《框架》，农业粮食体系转型将在其中发挥关键作用。
