NOTA: Establecido por la Comisión en su 17.o período de sesiones de 1987 como Comité del Codex sobre Frutas y Hortalizas Tropicales Frescas. Su nombre y mandato fueron enmendados por la Comisión en su 21.o período de sesiones de 1995.
