56. Under Rule II of its Rules of Procedure, the Committee is required to elect at the end of every session a chairman and a maximum of three vice-chairmen.
57. Because of the new development and the adoption by the Committee of the proposed amendment of Rule II.1, as indicated in paragraph 44, the Committee recommended to keep the present chairman and vice-chairmen in office until the election of the new chairman and the new vice-chairmen of the sixth session of CIFA, according to the new amendments of CIFA Rules of Procedure.
58. The Committee thus agreed that Egypt will continue to act as chairman and Madagascar, Sudan and Tanzania as vice-chairmen during the intersessional activity.
