Este documento ha sido preparado por una consultora de la FAO, Sra Agnés Saborío, a fin de
cumplir con la recomendación de la Comisión de Pesca Continental para América Latina en su Tercera
Reunión (México D.F., Diciembre 1983), de actualizar la Bibliografía sobre los Peces de Agua Dulce
de América Latina, la que fue preparada y publicada por la FAO en 1979.
PREPARATION OF THIS DOCUMENT
This document has been prepared by an FAO Consultant, Ms Agnés Saborío, in order to fulfil
the recommendation made by the Commission for Inland Fisheries of Latin America (COPESCAL) at its
Third Session (Mexico, D.F., December 1983) to up date the bibliography of Latin American freshwater
fish, which had been prepared and published by FAO in 1979.
