A proactive professional with over 25 years of experience in development, research, teaching, and project work in agriculture development, land rights, rural programs monitoring; gender and youth, capacity building and climate change. Worked with diverse international organizations and work cultures including the FAO office in Ethiopia and South Africa. Interested in rural livelihoods and development. Thesis: Bridging the gap: land rights of rural women. Recently worked as a senior research fellow at Westminster International University in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

In Ethiopia, through an FAO project, we facilitated the formation of community seed multiplication and distribution farmer groups for local seeds. The project helped to restore the biodiversity of lost seeds which were replaced by HYVs.
