Eldar Kelemetov
Eldar Kelemetov graduated from the Economics Department of the Kabardino-Balkarian State Agricultural Academy named after the first President of the KBR, V.M. Kokov in 2006. In 2007, he started his postgraduate studies at the All-Russian Institute of Agrarian Problems and Informatics named after A.A. Nikonov (VIAPI n.a. A.A. Nikonov). At the same time he started working as a research fellow at the Department for Regulation of Agricultural Markets under the leadership of Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences E.N. Krylatykh at VIAPI n.a. A.A. Nikonov.
In December 2011, he defended his Ph.D. thesis in economics on the topic “Competitiveness of poultry products in the regional market: the example of the Kabardino-Balkarian republic.”
Currently, he is a senior researcher at the All-Russian Scientific Research Institute for the Organization of Production, Labor and Management in Agriculture which is a subsidiary of the Federal State Budget Scientific Institution “Federal Scientific Center for Agrarian Economics and Social Development of Rural Territories – All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Agricultural Economics”.
Eldar Kelemetov co-authored 6 books in the field of food security and food marketing.
