Hello! I hold a Bachelor of Science in Management and a Master of Science degree in Rural Community Development and has more than eight years of experience in the field. I am the founder of Al Mawsam, a distribution company for local small-scale producers and am currently working as an Economic Growth Consultant with several entities. Previously in my career, I used to manage the Souk El Tayeb Farmers’ Market, have led the outreach and operation of the Environment and Sustainable Development Unit at the American University of Beirut and served as a coordinator for the Strong Cities Network's PVE Program in Lebanon, Jordan and Iraq. My notable work revolves around food security, social innovation in times of crises, local small-holders’ access to market, prevention of violent extremism and lately researching about contract farming in a bid to properly implement it in the region.
