Dr. Anuj Ranjan is trained in Bioinformatics and has obtained a PhD in Environmental Science, specializing in the Human Risk Assessment of Organophosphate Toxicity. His research encompassed the utilization of advanced techniques in Structural Bioinformatics and Predictive Toxicology. Another area of keen interest that drives my passion is structural bioinformatics, wherein I delve into the complex dynamics of receptor-ligand interactions through molecular modelling and analysis.
Throughout his career in environmental science, I have cultivated a profound interest in environmental health, mainly focusing on soil and water quality. I have gained valuable experience working on various projects pertaining to these areas, especially on beneficial microbes. At present, my research area is focused on the exploration of beneficial microorganisms and harnessing their potential for enhancing soil-plant health, biocontrol measures, the discovery of novel antimicrobial compounds (NRPS, PKS), as well as the remediation of targeted pollutants.
