    ICRISAT and partners are working in one of the fragile ecologies in central India. This case study describes the importance of landscape restoration approach for addressing food system and nutritional security for small and marginal farmholders. Landscape restoration methods have transformed degraded ecology of the pilot villages by enhancing groundwater availability, sustainable crop intensification and controlling land degradation. The learnings are useful for a range of stakeholders.
