Marie-Lara is a lawyer and a human rights expert. She has been a member of the FAO Right to Food Team since 2020. In her quality as policy specialist on the right to adequate food and natural resources tenure governance, she worked for diverse international institutions, including FAO, IFAD, ILC and the African Development Bank, and bilateral cooperation, including with GIZ.
