The pandemic has negatively impacted most of the value chains in Uganda if not all in way that COVID-19 came at a time when harvesting period of some crops was nearing mainly vegetables and given their perishable nature and low techniques of post harvest handling, farmers significantly made losses because accessing market during lockdown was nearly impossible, given that people were home not working even the present produce on market would completely fetch low prices due low purchasing power by consumers
In summary farmers have greatly suffered the effect of the pandemic mainly because of difficulties in transportation and Marketing.
Assessment should be based on policies that streamline activities in forest industry because some native forest resources are depleted by Human Activities such as increase in population. GPS based methodology should be employed to improve reporting, deploying forest rangers mainly in developing countries who can monitor changes in forest dynamics
The idea of formulation of council anticipates development in agriculture which every nation should embrace as it's listed in most of SDGs, However not neglecting the dynamics each and every Nation encounters, this should be made a priority in designing as well as appreciating the existence and more empowerment of value chain of various enterprise which creates a significant additional in dissemination of ideas.

The core indicators should be measured in line with agriculture activities the private sector are offering to societies. Do those activities promote human health, agroecology health that enhances man to harmoniously live with features supported by nature. In addition synthetic inputs being offered by the private sector, we need to understand if many farmers really understand the impacts of using such products on both their side and ecology as well.
Lastly, Is the private sector really promoting processing that doesn't undermine the reputation of the population interms of products being processed.
An example is recently Kenya rejected maize coming from Uganda citing that the maize was heavily infested with alot of aflatoxins but on the same issue the private is claiming to be promoting proper post harvest handling.
