The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) continues to work to advance the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and address the world's most pressing challenges related to food security, nutrition, and sustainable agriculture.

In August 2023, the FAO Office of Sustainable Development Goals launched a survey, "Showcasing FAO SDGs Acceleration Work," which was distributed to FAO Headquarters, regional offices, and country offices around the world, receiving over 600 responses that shared valuable insights, experiences and actions taken towards the achievement of the SDGs. Based on the results, the new publication was released on the FAO’s contribution to the 2030 Agenda implementation through actions on the ground.
