Dr. Babatunde Olawoye
Harnessing the Nutritional Powerhouse: Exploring Indigenous Crops and Insects as Sustainable Solutions to Food and Nutrition Insecurity in Nigeria
Babatunde OLAWOYE (PhD) lectures at the Department of Food Science and Technology, First Technical University, Ibadan. He received his B.Tech. in Food Science and Technology from the Federal University of Technology Akure. At the same time, his M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Food Science and Technology were bagged from Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife in 2016 and 2021, respectively. He specializes in food chemistry, focusing on food chemometrics and functional foods. He has published over 40 articles in reputable peer-reviewed journals, and he is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Food Science and Technology as well as a Certified Food Scientist of Nigeria.
