Dr. Goudian Gwademba is currently the Western Kenya Area Manager at Welthungerhilfe (WHH), formerly known as German Agro Action (GAA) and a faculty member at Kenyatta University School of Education where he teaches at the department of Library and Information Science. He holds a PhD. in Education from Kenyatta University specializing in information science. He has researched widely on extension information and agricultural productivity among small holder farmers and has over 20 years of experience facilitating agricultural knowledge and learning. He has an in-depth understanding of issues related to education, agriculture, public accounting, information science, impact monitoring and institutional capacity development, having had extensive experience working in the government and in the private sector. He has extensive experience in TVET/higher educational institutions capacity development, administration, and management and has worked effectively with county governments in Kenya greatly contributing to stakeholder mobilizing and engagement, carrying out capacity needs assessment, initiating and running Youth training programs and agriculture/community development projects. Goudian believes that a strong focus on ensuring continuous improvement in the performance of activities, through sustainable utilization of available resources, proper management, good organizational development, effective coordination, proper planning and impact monitoring, start-up enterprises can be impacted into successful businesses that will create job opportunities, economic wealth and social transformation, this will enable people break the cycle of poverty by allowing them to engage in activities that create employment, generate income, and exploit the economic opportunities available for their families, Communities, and their countries. This will eventually facilitate overall development, through efficient planning, monitoring, and implementing productive development initiatives, creating unique finance models that will stimulate economic growth and social development to improve the quality of life of the people. Dr. Goudian Gwademba is currently a board member (Chairperson Academic committee) at Nuru International Kenya, Inoro Girls Secondary school (Chairperson academic committee), Center for African Bio-Entrepreneurship (CABE) and a Member at Partnership for African Social and Governance Research (PASGR)
