I am currently working on my PhD thesis titled "Analysis and Modelling of Multidimensional Poverty, Environment, and its Spatial Pattern in Jigawa, Nigeria Using Geospatial Approach." My research focuses on understanding the complex interrelationships between poverty, environmental factors, and their spatial distribution within the region using advanced geospatial methodologies.

Simultaneously, I am engaged in developing models for an Integrated Farmer Information System (IFIS) through my company, DunesGIS Tech Limited. The IFIS project aims to provide a comprehensive data-driven platform that integrates farm management, crop monitoring, and resource optimization, facilitating informed decision-making for farmers and stakeholders.

Mr. Jibrin Gambo is a distinguished educator and geospatial technology expert, currently serving as a lecturer at Binyaminu Usman Polytechnic, Hadejia, where he teaches geography, remote sensing, and GIS. He is also the CEO and Founder of DunesGIS Tech Limited, a company specializing in GIS solutions for sectors such as transportation, energy, and environmental management. With a strong technical background and strategic vision, Mr. Gambo bridges the gap between academia and industry, advancing the use of GIS to optimize operations and support informed decision-making for diverse clients. He is a Ph.D. Candidate in Geospatial Engineering at University Putra Malaysia, where his thesis focuses on Analysis and Modelling of Multidimensional Poverty, Environment and Its Spatial Pattern in Jigawa, Nigeria Using Geospatial Approach. He holds a Master’s degree in Remote Sensing and Geographical Information System from University Putra Malaysia, with a thesis on Detecting Changes within and Around Protected Area (PA) Using Multi-temporal Landsat Data; A Case Study of Krau Wildlife Reserve, Pahang Malaysia from 1989 to 2016. His academic journey also includes a Bachelor of Science in Geography from Bayero University, Kano (2011), a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from the National Open University of Nigeria (2014), a Diploma in Data Processing from Babar Mado Centre for Information Technology (2011), as well as certifications from Digital Bridge Institute and Bayero University, Kano.
