I am a young scholar from Africa. Master of Science and Bachelor of Science  2015, 2011 respectively in my 20s from the University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria. My desire to learn prompted me to work as a research assistant for UNICEF for about a year before starting my research career with the Forestry Research Institute of Nigeria (FRIN), where I have been exposed to the multidisciplinary approach to research and environmental roles in agriculture. I am presently a  doctoral student at University of Ibadan.

I was recommended by my academic mentor to be an early career scholar for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation-funded Research Supporting Africans MSMEs to Provide Safe and Nutritious Food (RSM2SNF) project in Nigeria. This project which is on its second year in Nigeria is currently assisting me in embracing and continuing to develop peer learning within and across partner institutions of the project, which will enhance sustainable capacity development.

I have more than fifteen published articles in highly reputable, peer-reviewed journals.  A member of Forestry Society of Nigeria (FAN), Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World (OWSD), Commonwealth Forestry Association (CFA),Women Organizing for Change in Agriculture and NRM (WOCCAN) amongst others.
