I am currently working on Simplifying the Science of Agriculture and Food Systems Sustainability and Development in the Global South by leading several projects. My work involves using participatory approaches to link agrobiodiversity at the production level with the nutrition at consumer level. I am serving as Deputhy head of the Department of International cooperation and theme leader for 'resilient cropping systems Group' at the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture (FiBL), Switzerland. I have diverse experience in leading various research and extension initiatives focusing on agricultural farming and production systems, participatory and decentralized plant breeding, policy engagement and dialogue on value chain integrity.
