I am currently working on food security and nutrition through focusing on small scale agriculture to help local farmers scale up food production by granting them access to quick and affordable farm inputs, viable seeds, technology and skills required to scale up food production. Furthermore, to empower youths and women on agribusiness such as fish farming, poultry production and orchard establishment
Alkali Jonah Musa is the founder and CEO of Alkali Agricultural Access initiative whose aim is to fight hunger and malnutrition in local communities, Through the work of his foundation he has empowered 2500 youths and women in agribusiness, has granted local farmers quick and affordable access to farming inputs, help raise the nutritional consumption of many children. Through his integrated fish farm, he has produce fish and poultry birds to help local communities have access to animal protein. in 2020 he lunch "solving With Agriculture" project where he help to build economic through the use of agriculture. in 2022 he was selected for the prestigious Mandela Washington Fellowship for leadership in civic engagement at the university of Georgia USA, in 2023 he was selected as a Nigerian delegate for the African Civic Engagement Summit in Nairobi, Kanya where he presented a case study "food security, Women and youth inclusion" . He received the Exchange reciprocal Grant award ($5,000) to improve fish production in Gombe State Nigeria in Collaboration with prof. Amrit N Bart in 2022. Currently, he is working closely with rural farmers and local communities to provide access to nutritional food.
