I am working on:

Ajuste de manejo agronómico y transferencia con enfasis en MIP de frutales tropicales y de clima templado con bajas necesidades de frío para su cultivo en regiones subtropicales. Principalmente orientado a pequeños y medianos productores.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Genetics from the National University of Misiones (Argentina) and a Master's degree in Plant Biotechnology from Marta Abreu University of Las Villas (Cuba). Additionally, I bring over 20 years of experience in agricultural research, extension, and university teaching.

My career began in evolutionary biology of arthropods, transitioning later to integrated pest management. Since 2018, I have been involved in an interdisciplinary group dedicated to taxonomic description of new species of arachnids, exploring their use as bioindicators of environmental impact in agroecosystems and as indirect pest controllers. I am a member of the Agricultural Biotechnology in Insects + Working Group (GT-BAI+) organized by OGM-Animal, Innovation and Biotechnology Coordination, Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, and Fisheries, Argentina.

As a researcher at the National Institute of Agricultural Technology (INTA), I am engaged in projects focusing on fruit cultivation, including Integrated Pest Management and agronomic practices for temperate and tropical fruits with low chilling requirements. My current efforts are directed towards the development of subtropical and tropical fruit production, emphasizing short marketing circuits and value addition at the source, thereby supporting family agriculture and small to medium-scale producers.

At this moment, coordinate the FO.AR 6809 Project "Cooperation in Tropical Fruit Cultivation" INTA - Southern Fruit Research Institute (SOFRI) under the Argentine Fund for South-South and Triangular Cooperation for the period 2023-2025, serving as the technical lead.
