I am writing to submit our proposal for the "Case studies of agrifood system technologies and innovations for climate action" call, as part of the FAO Science and Innovation Forum 2023. Our submission focuses on the Dala Integrated Aquaculture Hub (DaIAqua), which aims to showcase different climate-smart technologies and innovations in food production.
Through the DaIAqua, we aspire to meet Kenya’s growing population's nutritional needs and contribute to climate action by adopting sustainable practices and mitigating environmental impacts. This project aligns with the FAO Science and Innovation Forum 2023 goals, particularly in advancing agrifood system technologies and innovations for climate resilience.
