I have more than fifteen years of professional experience in spearheading large intergovernmental and multi-stakeholder policy convergence processes.
As a member of the Secretariat of the Committee on World Food Security, I have been coordinating multiple interagency task teams to oversee the Committee’s technical work on responsible agricultural investment, women’s empowerment and gender equality, rural-urban linkages, agroecology, youth engagement and employment in agriculture and food systems.
Prior to joining the UN, I held positions within the non-profit sector in Belgium and El Salvador.
I hold a post-graduate degree in Human Development and Food Security from Università degli Studi Roma Tre and a degree in Political Science and International Relations from L.U.I.S.S. (Libera Università Internazionale per gli Studi Economici e Sociali) in Rome.
