We kindly invite you to join a dialogue on “The Right to Adequate Food – Contributions from the UN Committee on World Food Security,” organized in collaboration with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO); the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR); FIAN International; the German Institute for Human Rights and Member States.

Within the context of the 20th Anniversary of the adoption of the Voluntary Guidelines for the progressive realization of the right to adequate food in a context of national food security, this event will share essential contributions through the tools of the CFS in terms of policy guidance towards the progressive realization of the right to food. It will gather different stakeholders to discuss and exchange knowledge and experiences to inform a more coherent approach for food security and nutrition for all. It will also consider how to strengthen synergies around the right to food, using the advanced normative framework to address current intersecting crises and challenges.
