FAO in Geneva partners with the Graduate Institute

Building upon the longstanding good relations between the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (the ‘Graduate Institute’) and FAO, which were forged with a cooperation agreement signed in 2018, the two organizations have set the basis for a new chapter in their relationship with the establishment of a collaboration to organize a series of five Dialogues events throughout 2022.

The purpose of this joint project is to revitalize the conversation around several key trade, agriculture and fisheries issues. The Dialogues will focus on Greening Subsidies, Digital Agriculture, Agricultural Research and Agriculture and SDG target 17.11 (Significantly increase the exports of developing countries...). In preparation for each of the five events, a short technical paper will be prepared and disseminated to present and analyse the issue in greater detail. We invite our readers to participate in the Dialogues that will be soon announced on the FAO in Geneva website (www.fao.org/geneva) and our social media accounts (@FAOGeneva).
